With the theme of “Startups X Toy and Electronics Industries on Smart Solutions”, Hong Kong Startup Council, under FHKI hosted a two-week virtual Demo Fest, despite of the COVID-19 epidemic. Demo Fest had assembled a row of value-added, innovative solutions that address pain-points within the industry, coupled with pitches by 12 star-graded startups. Filled with a dynamic variety of online events, Demo Fest also rolled out a sequence of leadership dialogues as well as public voting. It had successfully appealed to over 40,000 visitors. As Demo Fest had ended, 12 startups officially graduated! The Council will continue tying-up more promising startups with our STARS alumni and the broader ecosystem to ignite bountiful synergies.
