The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) launched the first “Hong Kong Innopreneur Awards” in 2022, with HSBC as our title sponsor. Through the Awards, we will recognise and support Hong Kong's startup entrepreneurs’ commitment, vision and development potential in order to bring positive impact and contribution to society, and help connecting these startup entrepreneurs to investors and industry professionals, so as to facilitate the continuous development of the I&T and startup ecosystem.
There were 8 award categories of “Hong Kong Innopreneur Awards”, encompassing a wide range of area. In addition to “Best Innopreneur Award”, “High Flyer Innopreneur Award”, “Excellence in Research Application Award”, we have also set up awards of unique nature, including: “GBA+ Award”, “ESG Award”, “Corporate Innopreneur Award”, “Ecosystem Catalyst Award” and “Most Popular Innopreneur Award”, so as to recognise the outstanding startup entrepreneurs in different fields, and enterprises who practise technological innovation in existing business and stakerholders who support the startup enterprises and ecosystem. The Awards judging process involves leading figures from business, industrial and I&T sectors, selecting the most promising winners.
