About Us
Founded in 2016 under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong Startup Council aims to serve as a platform to connect startups, Hong Kong entrepreneurs and investors in order to create synergies between old and new economies.
Objectives

To create a platform where Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) provides supports to nurture Hong Kong startups;

To facilitate and foster collaborations between startups and FHKI members;

Through pursuing the above endeavours to reinventing Hong Kong Industries.

Membership
Who are eligible to be Hong Kong Startup Council Member?

FHKI Corporate Member;
-
Local Hong Kong startups which has set up less than five years;
-
The business nature of the startup is possible to create synergies with Hong Kong industries; and
-
The startup has less than 50 staffs.
Annual Membership Fee: $1,000 per year

The STARS Programme, organised by Hong Kong Startup Council, provides assistance and support to startups on aspects of mentorship, industrial partnership (prototyping, design & production), go-to-market (marketing, sales, distribution, patent registration and pitching).
What We Offer?
Each cohort of the STARS Programme will last for six months. Suitable startups will be selected to participate in a tailored mentorship programme, guided by industry professionals. Mentors from special business fields would be paired with startups to help iron out obstacles.
At the end of the programme, a demo day would be organised for startups to make their pitch to the panel or potential investors, for a chance to gain up to HK$10 million funding opportunities.
*Selected startups can also enjoy the access of facilities and events in HK Startup Council Sharing & Co-working Space in Kwun Tong!
